As Captain and Lady Captain, it’s our pleasure to introduce you to our club, a place where the love of golf, camaraderie, and a sense of tradition come together in a truly remarkable setting. At Ballyneety, we pride ourselves on providing an inclusive, vibrant, and welcoming environment for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Our members and our community are our heart and soul, and it’s the friendships formed here that make our club truly special.
The remarkable transformation of Ballyneety Golf Club in recent years has been acknowledged from near and far and it culminated at The Golf Course Awards in London in December when Ballyneety was announced as the winner of The Affordable Excellence category before going on to win the flagship award as Great Britain & Ireland’s Golf Course of the Year 2025.
This Spring will see the completion of major renovations of all bunkers and lakes on the golf course. It will also see the completion of 8 new tee complexes and the total refurbishment of all toilets, showers, meeting rooms and locker rooms in the clubhouse. Next year will see the Junior Ryder Cup being played on Irish soil for the first time when Ballyneety hosts the first two days of fourballs and foursomes before the final day’s singles are played at Adare Manor Resort.
The members of Ballyneety are determined to leave no stone unturned to ensure that a spectacular tournament will be presented during Ryder Cup week. In the meantime we will offer a Cead Mile Failte (100 Thousand welcomes) to all to come and enjoy our club.
Is there a better place? “I doubt it” says Croker!
